Huntington Garden ​Private Tour & Lunch

Join the Garden Club of Santa Barbara for a tour of Huntington Gardens followed by lunch in the Chinese Garden Cafe.

(We will not have a bus so carpooling is encouraged.)

Cost

$25.00 per person for lunch

Agenda

1. Leave in car pools at around 8:00 am, in order to arrive at The Huntington at 10:00 am.

2. We will be met by the director of development, a great friend of Steve’s and now mine, who will have a golf cart that will seat 14, (or walking), to take us around the gardens, no admission cost.( I would like to think the club can make a contribution to The Huntington after our visit.) Hopefully the roses will be in full bloom, the rose garden is just marvelous.

3. Lunch, a set menu, in the Chinese garden cafe at say 11:30. ( If you’d prefer lunch in the new Tea Room, which I’m sure many of you have been to previously, and is now named after Steve, it would be a higher cost and something I would need to explore)

4. 1:00 pm leave The Huntington for Mission Street in San Marino for some shopping! Kelly Lloyd’s friend owns a wonderful store there called Pearls, it is a short street with some charming stores.

5. Leave for Santa Barbara by 2:30 or 3:00, to be home by 5 to 5:30.
