Attendees will meet at the Visitors Center. We will see a film and afterwards take our own bus up to the Castle for a tour, followed by a sack lunch. Space is limited to 20 guests so sign up ASAP.
Cost
$138.20 for card payments | $135 for check payments
($100 per person for the Tour, $25 per person for bag lunch, and $10 per person for the private bus on Hearst Castle Grounds)
About the Tour Guide
Hoyt Fields (Museum Director Emeritus of Hearst Castle) who has worked at the Hearst Castle Estate since 1974, is happy to take 20 of us on a special behind the scenes tour. Hoyt has worked as a "house" keeper, curator, and finally the Museum Director in 2000. He's worked with a series of superintendents, hundreds of guides, and an assortment of talented conservators. But Fields is never too busy to answer a question for a visitor who wants to know more about the Castle he knows and loves so well.

For those who would like to come up a day early, we have held rooms at the Cavalier Hotel. Prices range from $167 to $267 per night. For reservations please call Maira (805) 927-4688 and tell her you are with The Garden Club of Santa Barbara. First come first serve!
