On December 6, 2017, we hosted James Farmer, a Southern author, interior designer, and speaker known for his ability to create beautifully familiar and welcoming homes. He signed his newest book, A Place to Call Home, and designed on-the-spot two incredible arrangements in front of an audience of 300+members and guests. James was lively, creative, funny, and performed in a true southern gentleman style. His captivating presentation was the culmination of the hard work by our members selling our handmade items including wreaths, horticulture keepsakes, home baked delicacies and other sought-after holiday offerings. All monies raised from this popular event support our community projects.
